- To quote a member of the American Medical Student Association, based on patient self-reporting data from across Canada in 2003, the median wait time for selected non-emergency diagnostic tests (CT, MRI, or angiography) was 3.0 weeks. Needless to say emergency tests are conducted much more quickly.

- Gas is about $1.30 a litre in Canada right now (I live there). That works out to $4.91 per US Gallon. Either way it is too expensive when you've got the world's second largest reserves of oil.

- I've heard this argument before that people want to live far away from work -- I used to think I needed that separation as well.
